Zhukovskii “Kharkov Aviation Institute” In 20 healthy volunteers aged from 19 to 30 years (7 men and 13 women) the patterns of temporary fluctuations of total power of spectral indices (TP, VLF, LF and HF) heart rate variability (HRV) using a one-minute buffer during spontaneous and paced breathing were studied. It was found that temporary fluctuations of total power of HRV spectral indices in healthy volunteers are slow waves with frequency of 0,05-0,07 Hz and are similar to each other qualitatively and quantitatively. Absence of secondary spectra reactions on breathing type allows to associate fluctuations in their basis with metabolic processes. Keywords: heart rate variability, Fourier transform, biofeedback, human physiology.
